Read moreTuesday Tips: Beauty Tips
Today I'm sharing some of my favorite beauty tips that will help you maximize your natural look! If you've read my daily wear page, you already know that I'm big on skin care. Taking care of your skin, especially now that winter is coming and the weather is colder, is so important. This means having a daily routine that works for you. Because everyone has different skin, it's important to try a variety of products until you find what works best. It took me a while to find the right mix of products for my skin. It was definitely worth it though because I've been following the same skin care regimen for probably over a year now. You can find my daily routine here. In addition to my daily routine I also do the following:
FACIALS
Getting facials on a consistent basis truly makes a difference in the way your skin looks and feels. They keep your skin healthy and hydrated and they can also be the perfect "me time" activity. Setting aside this time to not only relax, but also take care of yourself can be really rewarding. I know facials can be costly, but if you make them a priority and work them into your budget, you won't be disappointed. Because your skin will have a healthy, natural glow, you won't need to wear as much makeup. For me, being able to go natural is such a good feeling!
DERMAPLANING
More recently, I started to get into dermaplaning. Dermaplaning is a safe and effective way to exfoliate the epidermis (the outer layer of skin) and get rid of fine vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). This process works wonders! It leaves your skin soft and smooth and your products work SO much better because all the dead skin is gone! This is a service offered by estheticians, which can also be costly since you can't do it yourself; however, you only need to do it about every 4 weeks. Dermaplaning in combination with facials will truly make in a difference in the health of your skin, how your products work, and how much makeup you need (or don't need!) to use!
LASH TINTING
My natural eye lashes are super light, but also super long. When I don't have mascara on you can barely tell I have any which is annoying because I feel like my eyes look tired and incomplete :( If you also have this problem, I have your answer! Getting your eye lashes tinted makes all the difference! Your natural lashes will now be darker, making them visible without tons of mascara! I especially keep up with this in the summer time because that is when I wear the least makeup. It lasts about 3 weeks for me until I have to get it done again.
BROW TINTING
I never had an issue with the color of my brows until recently when I darkened my roots. Because my hair was darker I felt like my natural eyebrows didn't match. Well there's an answer for that.. Brow tinting! Just like the lash tinting, brow tinting darkens your brows, and for me, made them the same color as my roots. This is also an amazing service for anyone who is naturally blonde and has super light brows. Instead of always having to fill in your brows, get them tinted!! I'm telling you it works wonders!
So now let's review.. Facials, dermaplaning, lash tinting, and brow tinting can all enhance your natural look! Your skin will be healthier and you will find yourself wearing less makeup on a regular basis! You may feel like you only need one of these services, or maybe you think you would benefit from all of these services. There might be a specific reason or time when you want to get these services done. And even though these services can be costly, anything that helps you feel beautiful and confident is worth it! You just have to prioritize and work it into your budget. Or... since the holidays are coming, you could ask for gift certificates to a salon or spa that provides these services. That would be a win win situation because you're getting it as a gift and you're also treating yourself!
I get all of these services done at Studio 21 Beauty Bar. If you are in the South Jersey area I ABSOLUTELY recommend going here! The girls are amazing and they know what they're doing!
If you have any tips to enhance your natural look, please share them in the comments below! I'd love to hear them!

Mani Monday: Deep Grey & Glitter
Happy Monday :) I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I didn't have a lot of homework so I got to play and relax a little more than usual which was nice. Friday night Rob & I went out to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had tons of fun (see picture below)! Other than that I worked, caught up on some sleep, and did a little shopping with my mom of course!
Now, about this mani! I haven't done glitter in a while and since the holidays are right around the corner it seemed appropriate. This glitter is called 'white gold' and it's one of my favorites because it's so dimensional and sparkles so much (kind of hard to see it in the pics and I didn't realize until now hah I'm sorry!) Anyway, this week's color is Tammy Taylor's Gelegance in Haute Couture. I love this deep grey so much. It almost has a navy blue tone to it as well which makes it cool. Definitely a good choice this week! If you're interested in booking with my manicurist, click here to schedule!
PS. I have to be honest here. I've only had Starbucks a handful of times because there's not one in my area. So far, I haven't been impressed! Everyone is obsessed with these red cups for the holiday season so I figured I would give it a try again, but honestly I've had better! I'm not a coffee person to begin with- but I do love my chai tea lattes. I got their cinnamon chai tea and it was kind of watery. Definitely think it's overrated.
But to end on a good note, here's a cute pic of Rob & I from the weekend :)
Also, my outfit details in the mani pics will be up tomorrow so check back to see where this perfect window pane scarf is from!

Mani Monday: Classic & Chic
For this week's mani, I wanted it to be neutral but chic. This perfect pink beige captured the look I was going for and I couldn't be more in love! It is neutral enough to go with everything and it is so classic and chic that it doesn't need anything extra. I am wearing Tammy Taylor's Gelegance in the shade Seychelles. All of the shades in her barely beige collection are perfect nudes so if your manicurist uses this brand I definitely recommend the nudes; you won't be disappointed!

Mani Monday: Featuring Foil
Happy Monday! There's nothing like a perfect manicure to start off the week! This week I went with a nude shellac (Tammy Taylor's Gelegance in Fawn Beige) and some fun foils! Foils are a great way to add some sparkle to your mani without it being too much. There are also plenty of options when it comes to foil: tons of colors, doing half the nail or the whole nail, adding it to some nails or all nails, etc. When it comes to nail art, foils are something I always come back to! Just keep in mind I feel like it's hard to appreciate the foil in a picture because you can't really see the sparkle like you can in person.
Below are previous mani's that my cousin and I have gotten with foils so I hope you find some inspiration! If you would like to book with our manicurist, click here to schedule online!

Mani Monday: Classic Dark
I love today's mani Monday! I knew going in I wanted to do a dark color since it's starting to feel like fall. When I saw this color I knew it was perfect because it reminds me so much of OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark, which is a color I used to wear ALL the time. It's such a pretty deep purple that gives the darkness you want without it being black. I know my mani's have been classic lately, but I will try to find something fun that I can post for next time :)
I hope everyone has a great week! It's cloudy here and I have a cold, but I'm still thinking positive!

Mani Monday: Bold Nude
This will be the first of many Mani Monday posts! Getting my nails done is something I LOVE doing for myself. It gives me "me time" and lets me relax & take a break from my day. My manicurist always does a fab job! She takes her time and makes sure each look is perfect. Her salon has such a relaxing atmosphere which I appreciate so much. I feel like I'm at the spa when I'm there. You can check out her website here and schedule an appointment if you feel inspired!
Today's look was inspired by Essie. I saw a post on their insta just like this except it was a blue/green color with a gold stripe. I was in a nude mood and since summer is almost over I wanted to get the hot pink in while I could! Needless to say, I am obsessed with this look!
To wrap up this post, I want to wish Rob the happiest of birthdays! I love you to the moon & back babe! I can't wait to give you your gifts when you get home from work xoxo!
I hope everyone enjoys their Monday and has a great start to the week!
