Happy Mani Monday! If you follow me on Instagram then you know I love my manicures. Getting my nails done is my treat to myself every two weeks because it allows me to relax and have some me time. I also love my manicurist so that helps too! She is super personable, not to mention she's a perfectionist so you will never leave without perfect nails! Winter manicures are some of my favorites because during the colder months, anything goes. So here are my top three mani choices for winter!
Classic Dark
I don't know about you, but when I think about winter manicures the first color that comes to mind is black (or something very dark). Dark nails and cold weather just go together. My favorite dark shade is CND's Shellac in Dark Dahlia. It's a very, very deep plum. It reminds me of OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark which is another favorite of mine. This shade will definitely satisfy your craving for a dark manicure as soon as the temperature drops.
Chic Neutral
Neutral manicures are my absolute favorite, no matter what time of year. Nudes are so classic and chic. They are timeless and elegant, and they go with every outfit. Adding a glitter fade to a neutral manicure is a sure way to add some glam to your nails for the holiday season. This particular manicure was what I just got for Thanksgiving! The nude shade I'm wearing is CND's Shellac in Naked Naïveté with a rose gold glitter fade.
Winter White
Is it just me, or does white seem to be popping up every where this winter? I'm definitely not complaining. A white manicure looks SO clean. I prefer soft whites as opposed to stark whites. Since white is also a neutral, it goes with anything. The shade I'm wearing here is Tammy Taylor's Gelegance in French Vanilla. It is very similar to CND's Shellac in Studio White. Both are soft and look fabulous on, even if you're not super tan.
I hope you ladies loved this post! I haven't posted an mani Monday on the blog since I started blogging, but it is something I would like to bring back. If you agree, be sure to click 'like' below!
