I had the BEST time this year at New York Fashion Week! This was the first year I attended and it exceeded my expectations. Mind you, I was only in the city for 24 hours, which is more than enough for me lol, but it was such an experience! From rooftop bars, to the LTK party, to hanging with my best girl friends, it was a trip I'll never forget. Today, I want to give a little recap and also talk about the experience as a whole.
RECAP
I arrived in the city on Saturday morning and met up with some of my favorite blogger babes. We got ready, explored the city, and had reservations for lunch at the Refinery rooftop. After hanging out at Refinery, we went back to our hotel and got ready for the evening. Once we were ready, we went to the LIKEtoKNOW.it party at La Sirena and it was way more than I expected. We were greeted with a glass of rosé and had the opportunity to meet other bloggers who are killing it! It was so nice to finally meet some of my fave girls in person! We went out after the party, basically to get some late night dinner because we were starving, and then called it night. Rob picked me up Sunday morning and I was on my way home. Shout out to him for making two trips to the city all within 24 hours. He seriously supports me to no end and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Attending the LIKEtoKNOW.it party was an amazing opportunity that gave me the chance to meet some of the girls who I follow religiously and get so much inspiration from!
Becky from Cella Jane // I have followed Becky for SO long and absolutely love her style. She has the cutest family, most amazing home, and inspires me every day! She is so stunning and so sweet in person!
Jordan from Well-Dressed Wayfarer // You guys. Jordan is the coolest chick ever. Her style is always on point and she's always traveling somewhere new. She was so chill and laid back which was awesome.
Destiny from Truly Destiny // talk about a real life Barbie! Destiny is a stunner but she's also one of the kindest humans I've ever met! She has an adorable family and her style is amazing.
Olia from Love, Olia // just as gorgeous in person as she is on insta! One of my favorite bloggers to follow who has impeccable style and so many great beauty recs! I also admire how real she is.
Jessica from Lipstick, Heels, and a Baby // now with three babies, this girl is one hot mama! She was so sweet and I was glad I got to chat and tell her I love following her!
WHAT I LEARNED
Be confident // with knowing some of my favorite bloggers were going to be at the LIKEtoKNOW.it party, I promised myself I would introduce myself to the ones I look up to the most, even if they have thousands of more followers than me. It was an opportunity that I knew I couldn't pass up. And guess what. I'm so glad I made myself do it! It was awesome to talk to the girls who I enjoy following & gain so much inspiration from. They were all amazing!
Be kind // community over competition, ladies. Most girls are nice; some girls are not. The value in being kind to one another gets you much farther in the end! It was so refreshing to see that some of my favorite bloggers to follow were beyond nice and willing to chat!
Make time to take photos // I definitely didn't get that many good solo photos this weekend. It was a quick trip so it's not something I was super concerned with; however, I wish I got one good pic in my dress for the party! By the time we got there, it was pretty dark out and natural light photos are typically all I post on my blog so that was a bummer. My day time outfit was super casual because I wanted to be comfortable knowing I was going to be walking around so I just snapped a quick pic of that and called it a day. Definitely going to plan better next year!
All in all, it was a super fun trip! I can't wait to go back next year!
