With fall right around the corner, I wanted to share a list of date ideas that I will (hopefully) be completing with Rob this season! Fall is our favorite time of year so we always get excited for the activities that come along with it! He might be more excited for hunting than pumpkin picking, but I still drag him along and he ends up having fun :) If you missed last year's fall post, you can check out my fall bucket list here!
TRIP TO THE PUMPKIN PATCH
Every year Rob & I go to the pumpkin patch! This is the perfect day date and gives all the fall feels. As much as I enjoy finding the perfect pumpkin to bring home, I also love going into the market and getting fresh baked apple cider donuts - yuummmm. Johnson's Farm is a must if you're local!
SIT BY THE FIRE
If there's anyone who can make the perfect bonfire, it's Rob. This is one of our favorite ways to spend some quality time together during the fall season. Something about the crisp air, the smell of a fire, and roasting marshmallows jus gets me.
DAY DATE AT A WINERY
One way to make me happy is to put a glass of wine in my hand. Heading to your favorite winery makes for a great day date. especially if they have live music, etc. If you're in the South Jersey area & haven't been to White Horse Winery, you need to go ASAP!
BAKE OFF
If you and your significant other like to cook or bake, find some recipes on Pinterest and get in the kitchen! This could be a fun little competition, as long as neither of you are sore losers haha. I really want to bake pumpkin spice muffins this year so I'll have to see if Rob is up for the challenge. I'm sure he will be considering he is a much better cook than I am ;)
WEEKEND GETAWAY
Planning a quick weekend getaway is a definite way to my heart. If you plan to go somewhere within driving distance, this is the perfect way to really soak in the beauty of nature that comes along with fall. Be sure to snap pics of the changing leaves and pumpkin patches along the way!
