Let's talk denim. This fall, my denim needs a complete revamp. I'm talking plain denim, distressed denim, black denim, etc. I need it all. I believe in investing in denim because I know I will get my money's worth. Honestly, I haven't gotten new denim in a couple years because it has all lasted me so well. When I began my search this year, I knew I wanted to find a brand that was priced more mid range but still felt high quality. Insert Madewell. I don't know why I've never tried Madewell denim before, but I am SO glad I did!
First, let's talk style. The pair I am wearing here is the Madewell 10-Inch Chewed Hem Skinny Jean. Let me tell you. The high rise is amazing because it holds everything in without being uncomfortable. The raw hem is also another great detail BUT I am short so unfortunately I had to cuff it. I need to convince myself to to just cut them and call it a day haha.
Next, let's talk fit. They are true to size and fit like a glove. They are stretchy which is a major plus. I know you've all tried on denim that has zero stretch and is so uncomfortable. I just can't work with that ya know. These feel like a dream and will also make your butt look amazing (seriously, scroll down to the last picture).
Now, let's talk price. These are $135 which is more than reasonable to me. After spending $200+ for years, I'm asking myself why I ever did that. I definitely don't regret it because all of my denim has lasted me for SO long; however, the quality of the Madewell denim is just as great as previous brands that cost more! I definitely found my new favorite brand of denim! So far I've also purchased the black 10-Inch High Rise Skinny Jeans (again - comfortable and love the high waist).
While we're talking about Madewell, this super soft button up is also by them! It comes in two color options, but naturally I had to get the blush. It's great for the fall transition and also looks adorable tied up! I will definitely be wearing this on repeat until the weather decides to catch up to the season.
As always, thanks for reading! Leave a comment & let me know what your go to brand is when it comes to denim!
