For my first Nordstrom Anniversary Sale look, I had to show you how I styled this cozy cardi and this basic tee. These two items are definitely my FAVORITE purchases from the sale so far. I love this cardigan so much so that I got it in two colors (blush & beige, because naturally). It was part of the sale last year and I totally regretted not getting it. So don't be me. If you've fallen in love with this sweater just from looking at it - GET IT. You can't beat the quality for just $49. I am already living in it because it's the perfect layering piece. (It fits TTS).
Speaking of layering pieces, this $18 tee is the bomb dot com. I honestly love it way more than the Lush tee that is on sale this year. I tried both on in store and this one was the winner. It is SO soft. It fits true to size if you like your tees loose (I'm wearing a small). The pocket is the perfect detail & I think the neckline is so flattering. It comes in TONS of colors so I also got it in black. Stocking up on basics like this is a sure way to successfully shop the sale knowing that you will definitely get the use out of what you're buying!
To end today's post, I want to give a quick little recap of my mini weekend getaway (even though it wasn't technically the weekend). If you follow me over on Insta, you know I went to St. Michael's with my family. We go every year and I always look forward to it because it's SO relaxing to just do nothing. We lay by the pool, go out on the boat, eat a ton of crabs, and just have the best time! Rob wasn't able to tag along because he was on a fishing trip :( but we do have another getaway planned for August so that will surely make up for it!
