This past week has been so mild! (Minus the midweek rain and possible snow today, ew) Last weekend was gorgeous! I got to spend Sunday with Rob so it was a definite win :) We went to breakfast, did a little shopping, and enjoyed the weather.
Because it was so nice out, I went back and forth between my vest and scarf. I wanted to show you guys how I styled them together, as well as separate!
Typical face. I was probably saying "Rob, why are you snapping pics when I'm not even ready yet???"
And now just for fun:
Here's me taking a picture of Rob (because he was wearing my scarf, making me laugh even though I look super serious lol) ...
... And here's Rob taking the same picture of me haha.
As always, thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful weekend! What's everyone doing for the Super Bowl?

Off White Faux Leather Jacket
This faux leather jacket is so pretty! I love the draped front (it also zips!) However, I haven't been getting as much wear out of it as I would like. I think it's hard to style because of the color. BUT, when I paired it with simple, closet staples, it just clicked! I like that the scarf ties all of the colors together. This white top is the BEST basic top I own. My dark denim is also super comfy. I hope everyone is having a good start to their week!

Styling White Pants for Winter
Happy Thursday girls! The snow is melting since it's been a little warmer the past two days which means I'm a happy camper :) I'm also so excited tomorrow is Fri-yay! Any fun plans this weekend?!
I'm a believer in wearing white pants all year round. I've been seeing a lot of bloggers pair their white pants with camel, blush, and other neutral tones. While I love the soft look that gives, I decided to pair mine with black because I love wearing black (in case you couldn't tell lol) and I love the contrast. The peek of white between the OTK boots and oversized sweater is definitely eye catching. Don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new!
This quilted parka has been my go-to this winter. It is so warm (I promise!). I love the faux fur detail, which is also removable if you're not feeling it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Fringe Sweater
The amount of snow outside is real ladies! It literally snowed allll day on Saturday. Rob was working (unfortunately) so I stayed in and watched the Kardashians marathon.. Anyone else?! As pretty as the snow is, I really hope this is it for the winter. I'm definitely a summer girl, so I was starting to get used to the warmer temps over the past couple months.
This cowl neck sweater is one of my faves. I LOVE the fringe detail and the two tone hem. I paired it with my Sorel snow boots and my Under Armor leggings so I would be warm. My beanie was definitely one of my better purchases this winter. The jeweled detail is gorgeous and the neutral color matches everything!
Yes I threw snow in the air with my bare hands!! My mom said it would be a cute picture lol. Even if I did have to immediately go inside and run my hands under warm water, she was correct.
Thanks for stopping by! Stay warm!

Oversized Turtleneck Sweater
Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a great week. Today is my last day of class for the week, so I'm a happy camper. No Friday classes is going to be a big deal this semester, yay! :)
I am so IN LOVE with this sweater. It's my first (and definitely not my last) clothing item from Goodnight Macaroon and it's way more than I expected. The fabric is so soft and cozy and comfy and warm and ugh! It's fabulous. I love the high lo hem and the wide sleeves. Definitely a sweater with character. The neutral color is also perfect for me since that's pretty much all I wear lol. I love the fit - I am wearing a size small. It is definitely oversized (which I love), but I wouldn't recommend sizing down because then it might be too short in the front.
Just a warning: if you order from this site and choose standard shipping, it may take a while to get to you. It took almost two weeks before it arrived at my doorstep, which was definitely a bummer. However, it's such a fab piece that I don't care now! But if you're looking to get something quick, choose a fast shipping option if available.
One confession before I wrap up - never in my life was I a fan of turtlenecks. When I was little I would always have a tantrum if my mom tried to put me in one. This turtleneck right here is probably the first one I've EVER worn for an extended period of time by choice. It's definitely a game changer for me because I am so in love with it that I might consider more turtlenecks in the future lol!
Thanks for stopping by!

Sorel Snow Boots
Sorel snow boots are super warm, and they come in multiple colors. These are a must-have for winter - whether you are in an area where it snows all the time, or just occasionally, having a pair of great snow boots makes life so much easier!

If you're looking for a winter coat.. look no further! The weather here is finally getting colder so it was time to break out my black puffer coat. This exact one is on major sale until Thursday! It's available in multiple colors and most sizes so snag it now! I picked it up this time last year for the same discounted price. It was such a good choice because it fits good, it's longer, and it's super warm! You won't be disappointed!
I got my headband last year at Sadee's & the brand is Mitchies. I absolutely love this one because it's different. The fur detail is adorable and I love that the band is thick. It does it's job by keeping my ears warm and keeping me looking cute, ha! I am sad though because I've looked all over to find a similar one, but I didn't come close :( I linked an all fur one below that is by Mitchies that I think is so cute and would definitely wear!
I feel like this shoot would have been picture perfect with some snow on the trees! Luckily this tree farm is right down the street from me. When it does finally snow (which may be tonight!) I'll be here taking pics :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Knit & Flannel Mix Sweater
This Madewell sweater is amazing you guys! I snagged it in store, on sale, and I couldn't be happier! It's different from everything I have, which I LOVE. The knit and flannel mix is so wintery. The red & navy combo is also so pretty to me, which is odd because I'm usually not a red person. The best part is that it's still on sale and it's also available in a winter white/black combo. I linked it below so go get it while it's marked down!
Side note: I can't believe it's already NYE! What are your plans for tonight?!

Black & White Buffalo CheckKut From The Kloth
I'm loving today's outfit! This buffalo check flannel is super comfy and I love the black & white combo. As usual I'm wearing my Joe's Jeans because there's no better brand (in my opinion). My black booties are Dolce Vita and they were a Christmas gift. I couldn't find the exact pair online so I linked a similar DV pair. My black scarf also functions as a cape and it's SO warm. I also own it in a neutral, taupe color. It's a few years old so I linked a similar black scarf that is currently 25% off. My pom pom hat is also very warm and I love that it matches my pom pom charm on my bag.
Now.. My Tory Burch cross body bag! I am OBSESSED/IN LOVE/DROOLING OVER this bag. I've been wanting a black cross body for the longest time and when I saw this one I knew it would be perfect. It's small enough to not get heavy, but big enough to fit my essentials. The gold hardware is so pretty. The strap can also double to wear it as a shoulder bag which is neat. it's also available in the color light oak which is SO pretty and would be perfect for spring/summer. I just might have to treat myself for my birthday hehe.

Holiday DIY: Snow Globes
Hi ladies! Today I'm going to walk you through how to create these adorable little snow globes! Different than my usual posts, I know, but these were too cute not to share! I found my inspiration on Pinterest, of course. They are so simple to make and take such little time. They are the perfect gift for everyone on your list. (They're also a great gift to yourself to use as home decor in spaces that need a little something extra!) *Spoiler alert to my cousins who are reading right now - I plan to give them out on Christmas Eve as a little gift to everyone in my family.
I hope you enjoy my tutorial for these snow globes. If you have any simple holiday DIY's leave them in the comments below! And if you make these festive winter snow globes, let me know how you make out! Everyone will love them, I promise!

You will need:
Hot Glue Gun
Mason Jars (I purchased mine from Wal Mart, they are the Ball 8 oz. Jelly Jars)
Miniature Trees (Mine are from Joann Fabrics but you can find them at your local craft store)
Fake Snow (Mine is from Target, it is the Threshold vase filler but you can also find it at your local craft store)
Once you have your materials, follow these simple steps and you will have adorable snow globes in no time! You can also be creative and switch up what you put inside! I so badly wanted to add deer or houses but I couldn't find any that were miniature :( I suppose I could have bought the bigger ones and put them in a bigger mason jar.. ah-ha, now that's an idea lol!
Colorblock Cape
It's Friday, it's Friday! Today is such a happy Friday! A few things I want to talk about:
First, today is Rob and I's official anniversary. If you asked him, he would say it's been 8 years, but it's actually been two years lol. But, to give him the benefit of the doubt, it feels like we've been together for so much longer! He truly is my soulmate. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love him. Our connection is so deep and true. I am so thankful for him because he makes each day a happy day. I could just burst when I think of how in love we actually are!
Second, I am officially done the semester today! It went by quicker than I thought which is a relief. At this point I just want to be done altogether. As much as I love learning, I just want to have a career already. I feel torn sometimes because I feel like I'm behind and I should already be a part of the real world, but then I have to tell myself it will happen when it's supposed to (in a year from now!)
Third, yesterday I had an amazing shoot modeling for Jay from Twisted Oaks and I CANNOT wait to share the images with you guys! I have a feeling they are going to be amazing! Check back next week to see what we captured :) Here's a little sneak peek of the hair and makeup done by Taffeta Design!
Fourth, this outfit. This cape has been my go-to lately. I'm loving the cool tones for winter, especially paired with all black. These OTK boots were an amazing steal from Nordstrom Rack! My mom saw them and pressured me into getting them haha, just kidding! She did find them and I'm grateful because they were a great deal and they are so sexy! I want to feature them again, but paired with jeans so you can see them better!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Make sure you're getting ready for the holidays! Christmas is ALMOST here, yay!
