This outfit is such a gem you guys. I wore it straight out of the box! It's perfect for the spring transition because the sweater is still oversized and cozy and the denim is a light wash that satisfies my craving for warmer weather.
I'm wearing a small in the sweater. It comes in four colors and I'm debating getting the ivory because I love it so much (also available in black and olive green). It's technically cropped, but I'm short and these jeans are high waisted so it hits perfect on me. If I had sized down to an xs I'm sure it would have been a tad shorter. The stitching adds texture and the cuffed sleeves are adorable! This sweater is definitely a must have that will get you through the next two months!
Now let's talk denim. Madewell has become one of my fave denim brands (check out a previous review here). Unlike my other pairs of Madewell denim, this pair is more of a true denim that has little to no stretch. It is high waisted and has a girlfriend/boyfriend/mom jean type of fit, but still hugs in all the right places. After reading the reviews I decided to size up and the fit is great! (I'm typically a 26 in Madewell, but went with the 27.) I don't wash my jeans after every wear (does anyone?) so I'm curious to see if they will stretch. I plan to dry them in the dryer all the way so I'll keep you updated on Instagram with how they wear - so far, so good! Coming in at just $98, this pair of denim is a must have for the spring transition & into summer!
