Happy Wednesday! Today I'm excited to talk about one of my favorite accessories to date: the bralette. Over the past year, bralettes have become a staple in my wardrobe, and for good reason. I've found that regular bras tend to be uncomfortable, especially strapless bras, and when they do have straps, they aren't the cutest with an open back or off the shoulder top. Cue the bralette.
Bralettes are the perfect alternative because they come in so many styles and look chic when you wear them right! Besides the fact that they're comfortable and easy to wear, they are also a great way to add a feminine touch to any outfit. Keep reading to see what bralettes I've been loving lately & how I style them!
First up is this pretty blush bralette by Maidenform. I think we all know my favorite color is blush, so this one was a no brainer. The lace is beautiful and I love that it's a racerback. I styled it with an open back tee to show off the amazing detail. I actually think these two pieces were made for each other, haha! Doesn't it look so much better than a regular bra would?!
Next is this white bralette by Candies that has a criss cross back. Again, this would be a great bralette to pair with an open back top because of the strappy detail. However, I chose to pair it with a basic cami. It makes the cami not so basic and the lace peeks out just enough along the neckline to give it a feminine feel. I also love a great black & white combo and this one is no exception!
Last but not least is this white bralette by Maidenform. I would describe this one as more of a bra style since the straps are similar to that of a regular bra. For that reason, I wouldn't particularly wear this one with a top that would show the straps. It would be perfect for underneath of a basic tee on days you don't really feel like wearing a bra. It also looks cute styled with a tee or dress that has a deep v neck where you would need a little extra coverage.
As always, thanks for reading!
As you round out your summer wardrobe and start to think about the fall transition, don't forget to pick up a few bralettes! They really are a wardrobe staple that can complete any look!
