What better way to kick off the weekend than with an all black outfit? All black is one of my favorite looks for fall + winter. There's something about it that's edgy yet sophisticated. Anyone can pull it off if they have the right pieces.
The first key piece to an all black look for the colder months is a solid, faux leather jacket. There are SO many great options this season. I picked up this one in store at South Moon Under. It's by blankNYC which is one of my favorite brands when it comes to jackets. They are reasonably priced (this one is $98) and the quality is always up to par. A jacket like this will last you for seasons to come. I absolutely love the zipper detailing. It is also a little thicker than previous leather jackets I've owned which is a plus. I am wearing a medium. The small fit good in the body but it was a little tight in my shoulders/arms. When looking for a jacket like this, comfort is something to consider so don't be afraid to size up if needed.
Other key pieces to an all black outfit for fall and winter are a pair of black distressed denim, a pair of black booties, and a tank or tee that is perfect for layering. All of these items are a must have in my closet because they look amazing when paired together, and they are also versatile so you can get multiple looks out of them!

Before I go, I just wanted to apologize for being a little MIA lately! I've been so busy with school and both Rob and my mom were away at the same time last week/weekend. It kills me because I want to get my content up for you gals on a regular basis, but sometimes life happens. I do have a lot of fun posts planned for the holidays so stay tuned! Be sure to leave a comment below if there is anything particular you would like to see that is holiday related. I would love to hear what you want to see :)
