Happy Wednesday gals! I can't believe we're already half way through the week. Time has been flying by lately, but we can talk more about that later! First, I want to talk about this flannel shirt dress that I picked up at Sadee's over the weekend (If you're local don't forget to stop by there this week for customer appreciation week! She has some amazing deals going on!) This dress is super soft + I love color combo and dip dye detailing. With the warmer weather we've been having, a shirt dress is a great option because your legs can breathe and you can pair it with booties to still get a fall feel. I also love that this one is longer in the back! I guess it also helps that I'm on the shorter side, ha.
Now, let's talk about time flying by. As you may know, I am doing my student teaching right now. I will be certified Health & Physical Education K-12 which means I have two different placements this semester, one primary and one secondary. This week is my last week at my elementary placement. I literally can't believe it has been seven weeks already!! It is so crazy to me. I am definitely sad about leaving my little kids and moving on to high school. My heart will always be at the elementary level, so making this transition is going to be tough.
BUT, I got some great advice yesterday that I want to share because I think it can be applied to most of life's situations. We are always going to experience transitions and move through different phases in life. It's okay to be scared of not knowing what is coming next. It's okay to cry it out and feel all the emotions that you are feeling. It's okay because not everything lasts forever. If you don't like what comes next, you have the power to make a change and choose happiness. That's the beauty of life. You will go through all of these different experiences that will lead you to where you're supposed to be. Whatever is meant to be will find it's way, just remember to embrace your journey.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
