Starting the week off with a beauty review is always good, right?! I picked up some new products over the past couple weeks, so I wanted to share my thoughts! They have all been pretty good buys, but keep reading to see which ones I would repurchase <3
DRY BAR DRY CONDITIONER
I love a good dry shampoo, so why would a dry conditioner be any different?! This one by Dry Bar does the trick. I got it in the lush scent which smells amazing (there's also an original scent but I've never tried that one). It's a great product for second + third day hair that needs to be freshened up on the ends. It adds softness and shine without having to wash your hair as often - yes please! Definitely repurchasing this one.
DIOR LIP GLOW
I purchased this lip glow during the Sephora Spring Sale. I've always had my eye on it, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money. The packaging is beautiful and it's a great product (a little bit goes a long way). It gives a nice tint for every day wear and it is super moisturizing. BUT, is it worth the full price? Honestly, probably not. The Fresh tinted lip treatments are similar when it comes to the actual product and they are a little more cost effective. However, I do like the color of the Dior one better (I got shade 001: pink).
BUXOM FULL ON LIP CREAM
I was browsing through Ulta and decided to pick one of these up, mostly because the packaging caught my eye. I got the color champagne pink (pink nudes are my fave) and it's really pretty on. Since it is a paler pink, it looks best with a full face of makeup. The formula isn't too sticky + it gives a tingly sensation when applied because it claims to plump up your lips a bit (not sure how good that is for you though - probably some kind of chemical causing the plumping 🤦🏻♀️). Overall, I like it but don't know if I would repurchase.
IT COSMETICS SUPERHERO MASCARA
Winner winner. This mascara is definitely worth the price + lives up to the hype. I've heard SO many great things about it so I decided to try it for myself! I'm super impressed. It literally feels like you have nothing on, even after three coats! I also love that it adds volume and separates the lashes really well. I was using a drug store mascara, but I'm so glad I went back to high end. Nothing gets caught in my lashes throughout the day which I found to happen often with the drug store one I was wearing. I highly recommend this mascara!
ELLA + MILA NAIL POLISH
I picked up this nail polish in Target and having been wearing it non stop. It's 7-free meaning it does not contain 7 of the most common, toxic chemicals found in nail polish. I got it in the shade Lovers Suite. It's super opaque which I LOVE. I'm not a fan of nail polishes that look opaque and then go on see through. It goes on super smooth and I like the brush. As far as chipping goes, it's typically hard for me to keep polish on my hands for more than five days. This one lasts pretty good which I was happy about since it's a safer choice. I will definitely be getting this polish in more colors!
As always, thanks for reading! Comment with what beauty products have you been loving lately?!
