With a change in seasons comes a change in my skincare routine, and hopefully you can say the same. As the weather changes, my skin has different needs, which means my products are ever evolving. I'm definitely a skin care lover and I'm always up for trying new brands. Recently, I've added a bunch of Glossier products to my routine and I am more than pleased! I've mixed my new favorites with holy grail products and couldn't be happier with the results I've been seeing. Keep reading to see what I've been using & loving for spring!
MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE
Fresh Soy Face Cleansing Milk
I've been using this cleanser for the past few months and there's no way I can give it up! The creamy texture and refreshing scent are just what my skin needs first thing in the morning. Its' also very gentle which is a must for me when it comes to cleansers.
Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm
This eye balm has been my go to for the past few months as well. I am almost at the end of my tube and I definitely plan to repurchase it. It's all natural and is just enough to keep my eye area looking refreshed.
Glossier Super Glow Serum
I. Love. This. Serum. I recently wrote a first impression post about all of the glossier serums (read it here) and I still can't get over them. The super glow really does make a difference in the radiance of my skin. I love it for the morning because it keeps my face fresh all day, even under make up! What's even better is that it's only $28! I can't recommend a better serum for a better price. This one is the bomb dot com. (To get 20% off your first order with Glossier, click here).
Glossier Priming Moisturizer
This priming moisturizer has become a quick favorite of mine. The fact that it's a two in one product sold me. It's light weight and goes on super smooth. It serves as the perfect base for make up & I couldn't be happier with it! I typically used to only use a moisturizer under my make up - no primer - because I didn't want to layer a ton of product on my face. But this product is a life saver! Less layers with the same result. #win
NIGHT TIME SKINCARE ROUTINE
Damn Good Face Wash: The Works
Talk about another product that's the bomb dot com. This stuff will be a forever favorite of mine! Last summer I wrote a review about Damn Good (read it here) and still stand by everything I said! This face wash is the real deal. It's all natural and so gentle on the skin. It takes off ALL of my makeup which is why I prefer to use it at night. It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and the oils are super hydrating.
Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm
Again, I use this eye balm morning and night because it's just that good.
Glossier Super Pure Serum
I use this serum as needed. It works wonders as a spot treatment and typically clears any blemishes over night! If they're still there in the morning, I apply it again; however, I only use it once a day because that is what Glossier recommends since the product is so concentrated.
Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil
The story behind Indie Lee is beyond inspiring. I've always seen her products in Anthro and have been so intrigued to try so I finally did & I couldn't be happier. This face oil is super moisturizing. I love it for night time so my skin can just soak it in. It's 100% natural which is super important when it comes to putting oil on your face. A lot of people think that putting oil on the skin will only make it more oily - however the exact opposite is true. Using a face oil will replenish the natural oils produced by your skin that are often stripped when using harsh or synthetic products. If you've been on the fence about trying face oils, this one is a definite go to!
Now, as I always say in my skin care posts, these products work for me. Everyone's skin is different so they may not work the same for you. Take the time to try different products and brands until you find your best fit! I truly believe in the motto skincare first, make up second because it really does make all the difference. Having a clean, clear canvas will produce better results when applying make up!
