After Rob & I got engaged, one of the first things I was told was to make sure we insured my ring. This may seem like a no brainer, but in the moment, your head is in the clouds and the thought might not even cross your mind (it didn't cross mine until I was told)! Seriously. You NEVER know what can happen. Wouldn't you feel so much better knowing that your ring is protected just in case something happens to it? I know it was a huge relief for me, especially for the times that I forget to take it off before heading to the gym. I try to be so diligent with this, but sometimes it's just not what I'm focused on before heading out the door.

It seriously takes less than five minutes, and your policy will be mailed to you or you can have access to it online. I chose to have mine mailed so we could review it and file it, knowing exactly where it is.
Jewelers Mutual offers coverage for loss, theft, damage, and disappearance. This coverage also extends world wide! So say you're snorkeling in Bora Bora (a girl can dream, right?) and later that day, you realize your ring is gone and it's most likely laying at the bottom of the ocean - that's covered. Even if you realize your ring is missing and you just can't explain why - that's covered too!
Jewelers Mutual also makes it super easy to add to your policy. At any time, you can insure both your wedding bands, as well as any other pieces of jewelry you hold near and dear to your heart! It feels so good to know that I can wear my ring worry free now that it's insured!
