Happy Wednesday! I'm so excited to share my recent beauty faves with you! If you've been following for a while, you know I love skincare and make up. If this is the first beauty talk post you're reading, get ready to read plenty more :) You can catch my previous beauty talk posts here! Let's get started, shall we?
MAC Cool Neutrals Eye Palette
I got this eye palette for Christmas and I am obsessed with it! I had it on my list for a long time so of course I couldn't wait to try it. I haven't tried every shade yet, but I have a good feeling I will end up loving them all. They are a mix of matte and sparkle, which is perfect. The middle row has quickly become my favorite row of shadows. They are great go-to's for every day wear and versatile enough to create a natural or smokey eye. If you prefer cool tones on your skin, this palette is for you! If you would like to see specific looks from this palette, leave a comment to let me know!
Fresh SUGAR Tinted Lip Treatment
I've said this before, but I've never been a major fan of lipstick. Even now when I wear lipstick I don't put lip liner on first lol. So this tinted lip balm is a life saver. Besides the fact that it provides just enough color on my lips, it also conditions them and has SPF in it (perfect for summer time). Be sure to follow me on insta to see what it looks like on! Next, I'm going to get it in the nude shade, because we all know I love a good nude lip!
Londontown Nail Lacquer
For the past three years, I've been pretty consistent with getting gel polish on my nails every two weeks. During my mini winter break, I decided to give my nails a break as well. I went for about three weeks without gel, but of course I couldn't not wear anything! I tried a new to brand of nail care products, Londontown. If you paint your nails yourself, you have to try this polish! It goes on so smooth and held up pretty well which was a pleasant surprise. I tried out the nude shades (because we all know I also love a good nude nail) and they are all gorgeous! I've seen the darker shades on fellow bloggers and they are also such pretty colors. Keep in mind - this polish is vegan, 9-free, gluten-free, and cruelty free AKA it's super healthy!
Fresh Soy Face Cleansing Milk
Every year when winter arrives, I find myself switching up my skincare routine. Changing up your products every few months can be beneficial for your skin, especially when the weather is changing. As far as cleansers go, I prefer a cleanser that is gentle. My skin is a little more on the sensitive side, so cleansers that foam and exfoliate tend to be harsh on my skin. This cleansing milk by Fresh is amazing. I've been using it morning and night for the past month and I have fallen in love with it. It smells good and is super gentle. It takes off make up (to an extent) so I have also been using my Dermalogica Precleanse to really get my mascara off beforehand.
Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream
In combination with the Fresh cleansing milk, I've also been using the Fresh lotus face cream. This moisturizer is a winner in my book. My skin was getting pretty dry with the colder weather so I had to upgrade. It's super lightweight and absorbs into the skin quickly which is a major plus. It smells delicious and has really added moisture back into my skin. It's also anti-aging which is a quality I think we all value when it comes to choosing skincare products.
Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant
Last but not least, I've added the new Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant to my winter skincare routine. If you've used the Daily Microfoliant, this product is similar in that it's a powder exfoliant. It has charcoal in it which means it detoxes your pores & gets rid of all the dirt & pollution that enters your skin every day. Because it is such a fine grain, it is safe to use daily. I use it a couple times a week, because as I said, my skin is sensitive and charcoal seems to create more problems for me than solve if I use it too often. Keep in mind everyone's skin is different so if your skin isn't super sensitive, you can probably get away with using this every night. You can use my code PINE20 to get 20% off your entire Dermalogica order!
That's a wrap! As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
