I can't believe New Year's Eve is tomorrow! 2016 definitely flew by. I can't say that I accomplished everything on my list, but I grew. I made progress and that's what's important. As I reflect on this past year, there are so many great things that happened and I couldn't be more thankful! Blogging wise, Pine Barren Beauty turned one, I got to work with some killer brands, and I was able to start bringing my vision to life. Life wise, I finished school forever, Rob and I celebrated three years, and I finally feel like things are falling into place in the most perfect way.
Before I share my goals for 2017 (post coming at ya on Sunday), I want to recap my favorite blog posts of 2016!
Pine Barren Beauty Turns One
My one year blogiversary post is one that will always remain near and dear to my heart. Not only do I love my outfit in this post, but I also love that I was able to write about how Pine Barren Beauty came to life! As I work on year number two of my blog, I will continue to strive for progress and allow PBB to be all that it can be!
Hair Care With Living proof
A hair care post/tutorial is probably my most requested post. I was lucky enough to partner with my favorite hair care brand, Living proof, which provided the perfect opportunity to create a post dedicated to the products I stand by and FAQ's. I received some fabulous feed back on this post! 2017 will bring hair tutorials, so stay tuned! In the mean time, click here to read all about my current hair care routine.
Summer Styled Bridal Shoot
Styled bridal shoots have become a favorite of mine. Because what's better than playing dress up for the day?! This styled bridal shoot is my favorite one so far. I love the summery, boho vibes. The flower crown was so gorgeous and the dress was simple & sweet. It also may or may not have been super humid, 90 degrees, and about to storm, but I guess you'll never know because the photos show no signs of sweat haha.

Blush Tones
If you've been following along for a while, I think it goes without saying that I am obsessed with anything blush. I definitely consider blush a neutral because, why wouldn't I? This end of summer look is one of my favorites from this year. There's nothing better than a pair of cutoffs, a white tee, a lightweight cardi, and a fringe bag. It really gives me all the vibes - especially the pink door I found behind me!
Day to Night: OTS Top For Fall
The off the shoulder trend is one that I fully embraced this year, and I believe it's a trend that's here to stay. As much as I love a good OTS top, I also love pieces that are versatile. I styled this OTS top from day to night and love how it turned out. Day to Night is a series I started this year that I hope to continue in 2017. It's much easier to style DTN looks in the warmer months; however, I plan on getting a DTN post up this winter!
Love Your Melon
My Love Your Melon post was definitely a fan favorite, and for good reason. This brand supports such a great cause and their beanies are super cute and cozy! I have yet to order one this winter, but it's on my list! I love this slouchy style but you better believe I'll be ordering one with a fur pom on top.
The Colder The Weather, The Colder The Shoulders
Speaking of beanies with fur poms on top ... My winter favorites are few and far between. This look is from one of my more recent posts and I think it captures my style for the colder months perfectly. As we know, I love a good OTS top, and I also love a good pair of faux leather leggings. I always get excited for faux leather season because it brings out my edgy side.
And now I can't not share a few of my favorite pictures of Rob & I from this past year. I just am so in love with him. He truly is the best part of my day, every day ♡
